I think jotform is fantastic, first of all for its simplicity, and second, it is very powerful. I’m a premium user and I can’t tell you any complaints.

Hi Don,

You can change the max size from the toolbar:
http://www.jotform.com/help/33-Upload-Forms-Increase-Maximum-Upload-Size-Limit

However, free accounts are limited to 10MBs upload space. You will need to upgrade to JotForm Premium to increase that to 1GBs.

I have only been on your site 15 minutes and am impressed ready to sign up. Seems very easy, friendly responses & refreshing. I have a website (not yet live) that has an area where my clients will upload their images before checkout (we frame canvases with the pictures they submit). I believe I read that it\'s possible for people to submit their images but I wanted to find out what the max size is....?
Can I change/upgrade if need be to allow for larger sizes?

Thanks in advance for your response! D.

No, JotForm did not have any downtime recently. Do you still have this problem? It could be a DNS problem specific to your network or computer. What do you get when you do a nslookup from your computer?

we used jotform for an online job application system and it showed immediate benefit after the first day. we upgraded to a paid service within 3 days of going live with our form because it was making our jobs so much easier and allowing us to collect the exact data we needed.

I have been using Jotform for a number of years, and only by chance fell upon them.
I have to say from day one there quality and service has been astounding, Jotform the web based application that I have been using is so user friendly and allows easy implementation into your website that it saved me so much time.

Now that Interlogy are bringing out new feature such as Profile manager, I have gone straight ahead and signed up because firstly I know they offer excellent quality secondly and most importantly I know I will not be getting pushy sales e-mails but will in fact get help when I need it.

From me to the Interlogy team, I would say keep up the good work and stick with your ethics.

Yes, that's why we stopped using the IFrame code and instead implemented a javascript code that can resize the forms depending on the fonts of the users. You probably have large fonts that's why the form does not fit on the iframe.

Thank you for the previous response.
Another comment:
When I copied using IFrame, and pasted into my HTML on Office Live, I noticed that the "height: 922px" had to be changed to 940px to avoid the botton of the "Submit" box from being clipped off.

Currently, you cannot remove the Country dropdown from the Address field. However, in the next coming days we will add an option to do that from Toolbar. It has been asked by others as well.

Thanks for your suggestions! :)

Thank you, thank you. Works now, like before.
BUT, how can I remove the "country" item from the "address"?
I don't need this item and it takes up space on the form.
It could be added as a seperate item, to be added or not.
I will report feedback whenever needed to help your struggles. LOL

Bill,

Thank you for your support. We are working to sort out all problems.

> I tried the "print"; option at the bottom of a form, next to the "submit", and it did not send to my printer.

It does not work on the form builder but it should work when you look at the live form. Just to make sure we will re-check the Print button on all browsers.

> 2- In the v2, I was able to copy the code over to Office Live with total
> acceptance. In v3, I had to copy the entire source code which includes the
> entire world in the country drop-down. Tedious to remove each and every
> time.

Please try the "IFrame Code" option on the "Share Forms" -> "Advanced Options". That's short and same as the code on the old version.

Hi guys,
Let me apologize for my upsetting attitude several days ago, when I learned that one or more of my forms were modified, without my knowledge.
Today, after reading your philosophy essay, I realized that I am not alone in dedication to a website service. My website is my own idea for a community service, as I am a retired 73 year old, and was getting bored with nothing to do, but MUST keep my mind buzzing. I use Office Live and did not really care for their programmed forms, after using them for over a year. Then after searching for other forms to satisfy a need, I came across another company, (not yours) and replaced all my forms on Office Live, with theirs. Still not satisfied after many months. Went searching again, and, alas, found yours.
I, again replaced all my forms with your program and even used your forms for several other small websites, with TOTAL satisfaction.
Then comes April 15. SHOCK! (not the IRS) After reading some other complaints from your customers who use hundreds of your forms, I felt really humbled. I feel if they can adjust, then after 73 years, I can adjust too. (Old dog, new tricks) I decided to redo all my (not-many) forms and, maybe, add some new features.
Since I am free-user, I might just let my readers know who created this program, hopefully, driving some business your way.
Comments-
1- I tried the \"print\" option at the bottom of a form, next to the \"submit\", and it did not send to my printer.
2- In the v2, I was able to copy the code over to Office Live with total acceptance. In v3, I had to copy the entire source code which includes the entire world in the country drop-down. Tedious to remove each and every time.
Maybe more feedback later.
Many thanks to a very dedicated team. Yea Team!
ps- I do prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee.

I have noticed that all the forms are now going through my email address info@asred.co.uk. My clients are wondering why this is so as I have specified their email address on the old version of jotform.

I have the same problem as others with V3, submissions are not sending emails. I don't even see them in JotForm. The only way I can see someone submitted something is because it takes them to complete payment.

I totally agree with you this!

People should concentrate on improving the value as possible in their products/services....and build the user number...get a lot of feedback....Only later think about how to monetize...

Hi,
Good application for forms. Like it a lot.
One problem though, when adding fields to a long form, the new field always sems to jump to the top of the page and I have to try and drag it down to where I want to insert it.. why is this?
I would also like to put new fields to the right or left of the page so that the form does not become too long. Use the screen width more.
Best wishes
Peter

I love JotForm, and I hope this is the right place to ask this. Is there a way to create folders to better manage My Forms? I have 100+ forms and I'd like to throw them into folders (before my scroll finger falls off). Any way to do that?

Tony: Unfortunately changing a field type from from dropdown to checkbox and vice versa is not possible. But we will look into the problem of deleted fields getting lost on the reports. I am sure, we can find a solution for that.

Hi Tony,
Yes, that's possible on the new version. The new submissions page has an edit button that allows you to edit a submission.

I really need this feature, but not sure if Jostform has it in the new release. To be able to edit the Reports and add more columns for internal use that not shown on the form, and save the change. For instance, my employees input their request for Time clock change, and I need to be able to mark which request I have fixed, and leave some notes, in 1 or 2 different columns. Thanks.

I've very pleased and excited about new Jotform. I just signed up a few days ago and started to use it as internal for the employees. My boss said this is one of my best discoveries, so it does make me look smart. :-) 1 quick question: Can I change format of an existing question to another format. Ex: I'd like to change a dropdown into radio buttons, without losing my options. I can create the entire new question, but if we can keep our options, that's better. thanks.

Aytekin,

Been using Jotform for years and love it! I now am involved with Federally funded web products and wondered how JotForm 3.0 might address the ADA requirements of Federal websites. Thanks and keep true to your heart.

Yes, JotForm 3.0 has most of them. The emails will be sent after the payment is completed and you can have quantity and other options on the payment form.

I have to say that using JotForm for simple forms has been fairly easy at helping run some tournaments. However, we have also started to use JotForm with the payment gateway (PayPal) for registration of events, and I've found it to be somewhat lacking.

Tying information from a form together with a payment gateway requires a fair amount of duplication. One of our forms was for registering competitors. Using JotForm, they had to select the event they wanted to participate in for it to be in our output, then they had to select it again in the product/payment section for it to be transferred to the payment gateway.

It is also difficult to tie an actual payment to a form submission. In the above form, after filling in the information twice, after they submitted it, they were sent to the payment gateway. However, if they didn't pay, the registration was already recorded, and it made it difficult for us to go back and reconcile registrations and payments. Also, if they paid with a credit card with a different name on the card, such as a parent paying for a child, it was difficult to tie the payment to the registration.

It is impossible to add a quantity or other characteristics to a purchasable item. We ended up with literally hundreds of items, where they would be things like "t-shirt, large, qty 1", "t-shirt, lg, qty 2", "t-shirt xl qty 1", ....

Has any work been done on JF3 to integrate ecommerce into the forms better?

Looking good.
If you are putting all this effert into making a "Survey" looks like very little extra to add Quiz? option to add images to both would be realy good very few systems allow this only one I found cost hundreds

Ps I am sure I have missed this but When are you looking at release?

I am very happy you are doing what you do best!
Thank you for jot form. I am a Mac user. who uses a FTP server. Most of my features are disabled within ME. for this reason Jot form saved me.

However, I tried to upgrade and for whatever reason your outsource payment
center did not fix whatever the problem was. I followed up with an email to your
service center but recieved no response.

My address was the problem.
I have a TX Address However I am out of New York, New York.

Hi Aytekin,

I think jotform is fantastic, first of all for its simplicity, and second, it is very powerful. I'm a premium user and I can't tell you any complaints.

I'm excited about the 3.0 version, can't wait for it, so if you need a betatester, I'd be delighted.

Thanks a lot for it!

I am awaiting for the new JotForm 3 release, as i know i will be able to design my form to more effectiveness. Just to also know if i can also use the form with mathematical calculation for my cake ordering form. Congrats to the team.

We've been using JotForms for just under a month. We looked at many form builder programs before deciding to use you guys and we've just upgraded to the Premium.

It's worth every cent! Just so easy to use and the reporting and other features are just fantastic.

Can't wait for the launch of the new version.

Thanks for such a brilliant service - TOP DOG!!

Been using Jot Form for well over 6 months and it has been fantastic!... absolutely love the newer version, it is even simpler to use than the older version, can't wait for the release of it. When you have something this easy to use and create, there is no reason to go anywhere else... by the way, it is probably worth at least 4 Starbucks coffees a month!
Keep up the great work,
Scott

Will there be more themes? I'd love to see a clean theme with rounded form fields, or form fields with controllable heights, etc.

Hi Freedom,
I think you are looking for some kind of membership software. JotForm is useful for creating standalone forms. Having a standalone registration/login/lost password form probably wouldn't be useful for you. You probably want them to create accounts, let users log into a member area etc. Try Memberkit or Profile Manager Premium instead.

I was using Xmailpro, but chose jot for for its sophisticated simplicity. Love the way you can add text to the form with out it having to be limited to a header of footer. The new survey looks very powerful. Cant wait!

I logged into JotForm for the first time last night, love at first click...
I posted a question, regarding questionnaire responses with numeric values(today), your survey tools are promising...
I got another 4 months of neurosurgical training left, then i'll go into private practice.
Believe me, premium membership is just a matter of... not soon enough :)
I'll be bugging you 'bout site and information security, HIPAA compliance and all that...
Awesome work!!!!

Hi Barbara,

The new version will be released on April 14th. We have had to change the release date couple of times in the past but I think this time we will get it. Of course, it is more important to release a stable version than to get the date right. We won't release anything unless we are absolutely sure about it. Over 240,000 thousand users trust their data with us.

Yes, quantity feature is available on the new version. You can also add your own custom properties to the payment forms such as size or color. I will cover these features on a sneak peak next week.

Have a nice shiny happy spring weekend!

Looking great :-)

Would be perfect with a feature that tells which page (url) the form was submitted from. Especially if using the new Light Box, Popup box and Feedback Button features.

Otherwise, great new additions I think!

Being a designer and not a programmer Jotform is the ideal solution for me, I've always found it easy to use and implement (although I always strip the tables out of the output) In terms of usability and general sexiness version 3 looks fantastic. Like the look of the new tools as well, cracking job.

I've had good luck with jotform on a couple web sites that I maintain. The only thing it lacks is the ability to calculate total amounts. Also, I see the new version has a password area but I don't see how you configure it.

hello,

First i would like to say thank you for making an incredible application. we operate several websites that incorporate your forms and now that facebook can render html we are even posting some on there. I am very excited and looking forward to the new jotform. As a company we pride ourselves on customer service and always strive to make improvements on efficiency without sacrificing quality. We use forms to hire applicants, register for seminars, schedule estimates and so much more. I can only hope that more people will read your posts and take what you say to heart. It is truly a business model that will not only succeed but thrive.
Thank you!!
